Our Classic Inca Trail 4 days / 3 nights

Summary of the program

Day 1: Cusco (3,300m) – Km82 (2550m/8269ft) – Yuncachimpa (3000m/9842ft)
Total distance to be covered on day 1: 12km (approximately 5 or 6 hours)
Places visited in the first day:. Llactapata.The vast and incredible Inca site Llactapata' (officially called Patallacta'), the Urubamba mountain range that divides the jungle and the Andes and the beautiful snow-capped peak of 'W'akay Willca' (5860m/19225ft), known in books as Veronica.


Day 2: We go over 2 passes.
Total distance to be covered on day 2:  16km (approximately 8 or 9 hours)
Yuncachimpa (3000m/9842ft)- Dead Woman’s Pass. (4200m/13779ft) Pacaymayu- Chaquicocha
Places visited in the second day: Runkuracay. These small circular ruins thenSayacmarca by way of a superbly designed stone staircase. The name Sayacmarca means 'Inaccessible Town'

Day 3;  Short walk to Wiñay Wayna!

Total distance to be covered on day 3:  8km (approximately 5 hours)

Places visited in the Third day: Phuyupatamarca (meaning Town in the Clouds). This is the third highest point on the trail fron this place we walk forward the impressive agricultural Inca site of Intipata Then Wiñay Wayna (2680m/8792ft)


Day 4: Sun Rise in MachuPicchu from Wiñay wayna to Inti Punku (Sun Gate) (2730m/8792ft) Then walking tour in MachuPicchu. After that free time to explore the city by yourself.Also if you are interesting you can climb HuaynaPicchu mountain for $60 extra in the price
After you had enjoy of MachuPicchu you take a bus down to Aguas Calientes where you will  the Expidition train on PeruRail which departs at 18:45pm. This train will arrive to Ollantaytambo at 20:20pm and you will be picked up by your driver. The driver will be holding a sign with your name on it so there is no confusion. You will be transported back to your hotel/hostal at 10:00pm
