“Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu”, a documentary by Ashley Colburn, was nominated for a documentary Emmy Award in the ‘historical’ category.
According to PromPeru invited Colburn to Machu Picchu last year, as part of a press trip. The trip coincided with the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of the ancient city.
The tourism board said the nomination was a great opportunity for more people, from different parts of the world to learn about Peru’s uniqueness.
